These birds are from the Paul Sion line of Sky Lake Loft in the U.S.
Dr. Michael Brown, the owner of Sky Lake Loft, not only preserves the Paul Sion bloodline but also maintains the quality of dark-colored eyes and feather color to a level close to show standards.
Back in the 1970s and 1980s, the late Dr. Yang-Hee Lee personally imported Paul Sion and Roberto Sion pigeons from Europe, but I recall that they were not quite the same in appearance as these.
KOR 10-4130 BCW, the daughter of AU 09 JUJU 183 MLY hen, won 1st place in the 2012 Tongyeong race.
She finished 6 minutes ahead of the 2nd and 3rd place birds, and an incredible 30 minutes ahead of the 4th place bird.
A total of 690 pigeons participated in the race. Tongyeong is located in the southeastern region of Korea, and more than half of the return route consists of high mountain terrain, making it an exceptionally challenging race.
